Corn Extends Bullish Streak as Soybeans Stabilize — QH Weekly Forecast (Nov 24)
We’re pleased to share this week’s Corn and Soybean Forecasts* — the latest update in the Quantum Hedging (QH) Product, featuring both Flat Price and Spread Forecasts as markets transition into late November. Model signals continue to reflect the interplay between seasonals, technical momentum, and inter-commodity relationships across the grain complex.
Corn Outlook
Corn extends its third straight moderately bullish signal, with the QH model showing a 77% probability of higher prices over the next month. This marks corn’s strongest reading since August, driven by improving technical indicators and slightly supportive seasonals heading into early December. March corn (CH25) is forecast at $4.56/bu, with an 80% confidence interval of $4.41–$4.72, reflecting a constructive but measured upside path.
Soybean Outlook
Soybeans shift into a neutral-to-slightly bullish position, with a 52% probability of higher prices. After losing momentum through November on weaker technicals, the model indicates the recent slowdown is stabilizing rather than breaking lower. January soybeans (SF25) hold at $11.33/bu, with upside limited unless new drivers emerge from exports, macro flows, or South American weather.
Spread Forecasts
Corn spreads remain supported by bullish flat price signals, with CH/CK showing a 65% probability of strengthening in the next 30 days. Seasonal tendencies remain flat, but stronger futures have kept spreads firm throughout November.
Soybean spreads display the most notable shift this week. SF/SH rises to a 70% probability of firming — a meaningful turn from last week’s more cautious reading — suggesting the spread curve may be finding support even as flat price momentum cools.
