Corn Turns Bullish, Soybeans Flatten — QH Forecast Update (Nov 10)
We’re pleased to share this week’s Corn and Soybean Forecasts* — the latest update in the Quantum Hedging (QH) Product, featuring both Future Price and Spread Forecasts as markets transition out of harvest.
This week marks a subtle but notable shift: corn turns slightly bullish for the first time in six weeks, while soybeans flatten following October’s rally. The QH models continue to track evolving market signals tied to technical structure, inter-commodity spreads, and seasonal behavior across the grain complex.
Corn Outlook
After weeks of neutral signals, corn shows renewed strength, with the QH model assigning a 69%* probability of higher prices over the next month. March corn (CH25) is forecast at 453*/bu, up 11¢ from current levels. The model* suggests seasonal weakness remains a background factor, but improving technicals and inter-commodity strength hint at a more constructive tone into late November.
Soybean Outlook
Soybeans shift to a neutral bias — the most balanced reading in six weeks — with a 53%* probability of higher prices. The recent rally has moderated, but underlying market structure remains firm. Technical indicators suggest consolidation rather than reversal, as traders gauge follow-through potential after October’s strong move.
Spread Forecasts
Spread signals diverge this week. Corn spreads lean modestly bullish, led by CH/CK strength and a 73%* probability of widening in the next 30 days. Soybean spreads, however, show a slightly bearish turn, reflecting a pause after rapid tightening through October. The mix points to stabilization rather than renewed acceleration in relative value.
This week’s forecast continues Quantum Hedging’s commitment to data-driven clarity, helping commercial and institutional clients interpret price behavior, spreads, and relative-value signals through the harvest transition.
