Harvest Yield Analytics (Soybeans) – 10/14/25

Harvest Yield Analytics (HYA)

The model captures real-time yield results from commercial seed company trial results during the fall harvest season. Yields from seed plot trials are then compared to historical seed plot trials (2020–2024) in the same region and used as a predictor for average county yields. It’s important to note these results are not fully representative of every acre or growing condition, but they provide valuable directional insights into harvest outcomes.

Soybean Yields Stay Strong Into Mid-October

Our latest Harvest Yield Analytics (HYA) update covers more than 60% of U.S. soybean counties and shows yields running +2.9 bu/ac above 2024, keeping the crop on pace with USDA’s 53.5 bu/ac forecast. Strength remains broad across the Corn Belt, led by Ohio (+7.6), Indiana (+5.9), and Nebraska (+6.1), while North Dakota and Missouri lag slightly. The overall pattern continues to signal a resilient, above-trend crop as harvest advances into mid-October.
